Founded in 1943, Vidyarthi Bhavan in Bengaluru’s oldest restaurants. It serves south Indian dishes like dosa, Idli, Uttapam. The restaurant is famous for its crispy Masala Dosa, and the Sagu Masala Dosa. It has served more than 2 crores of dosas. To this day the restaurant has only six items on its menu. This famous restaurant is located on the Gandhi Bazaar road. Vidyarthi Bhavan is considered as an iconic landmark and a symbol of old Bengaluru (previously known as Bangalore), for its architecture and heritage. Many writers, artists, filmstars, corporates are their regular customers. Back in the day, Vidyarthi Bhavan was started for the students from nearby colleges. But soon it started hosting celebrities from all the fields who came over to brainstorm ideas over coffee and dosas.
