Bhagat Singh, who sacrificed his life for the freedom of the country, lives in the heart of every Indian. Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907 in Banga, Lyalpur district, now in Pakistan. Bhagat Singh started thinking about India's independence at the young age of 8 and left his home at the age of 15. The Lahore administration announced that the famous Shadman Chowk would be renamed Bhagat Singh Chowk. The administration had to face all-round opposition after the verdict. It is said that Bhagat Singh smiled and hung on the noose. In fact, his last act done fearlessly was to "demoralize British imperialism".
