Ganesh Mandal, located at Ramroti Chowk in Valsad, has brought home a 12-foot Ganesh idol made of about 400 kilograms of paper this year. For the last 8 years, the board has been installing statues with different themes. Ramoti Chowk has become an inspiration for other communities by adapting eco-friendly Ganesha idols by the youth. This Community in Valsad has been working with different themes for the last 8 years. This year, the artistic sculpture made the idol using around 400 kilograms of paper. The idol is made by about 20 members of the board and 1 sculptor. It was made at a lower cost and after 10 days of excellent artistic sculpture. When other Communities buy idols from congregation sculptors, they bring idols of end up paying a higher price. These idols are made from Plaster Of Paris that is harmful to our environment. This community has also contributed to saving the environment by making an eco-friendly idol that is very affordable.
