The Baiga are forest-dwelling aboriginals from Central India. They mainly live in Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh and in parts of Jharkhand as well. They live on the periphery of the forest, withan intimate knowledge of the plants and animals that inhabit this space. During the tourist season, they perform traditional music and folk dances at lodges and resorts located near Kanha forest.
