Shantanu Arora is a Professional Vocalist, Guitarist, and Guitar Trainer based out of New Delhi with over 20 years of experience. He is also the Owner and Director of Shan's School of Music.
Formally trained in guitar from the age of 12, Shantanu gave his first vocal stage performance at the tender age of 10.
He holds a Bachelor's in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA in Marketing from Sri Sharada Institute of Indian Management, where he was the Hall of Fame award winner.
Shantanu also holds a Bachelor's degree in Music (Grade 8) from Trinity College London. A disciple of Ustad Sabri Khan, he studied Hindustani Classical Music under the guidance of this Sarangi Maestro.
During his school and college career, he won over 50 competitions at Pepsi Storm and the BITS Pilani All India in 2005 (being the Runner-Up in 2006), YMCA, Confluence, Miranda House, Sri Ram College of Commerce, IP College, and Rotary Club.
Professionally, Shantanu has performed with well-known bands such as Silk Route with Mohit Chauhan, Hyperion, and All Seven Notes. To date, he has delivered over 300 performances.
To promote top-notch musical education and creativity in this field, he founded Shan's School of Music in 2009. This successful music school provides vocal training as well as training for various musical instruments such as the guitar, flute, and keyboard.
With three centers, the school has organized multiple musical events and encourages its students to create and play their self-composed music. These events have drawn media attention from channels such as DD News, CNN-IBN 7, NDTV India, Radio Mirchi, Delhi AajTak, CNEB, and Zee News.

Due to this immense contribution to the field of music and winning an All India Music Competition organized by LAMP and Rex, Shantanu has been conferred the Karamveer Chakra Award for Music by the United Nations and the International Confederation of NGOs.
