Rohit Vimalnath is a Certified Yoga Acharya with over seven years of teaching experience.
He obtained his Yoga Teacher Training qualification (350-hour) in the tradition of TKV Desikachar and T. Krishnamacharya from Yogavahini. This forms the backbone of his approach of Viniyoga - tailoring the yoga practice to the student, and Vinyasa Krama (step-by-step progression into an advanced asana).
Rohit has also received his Yoga Instructor Course (YIC) from the Bihar School of Yoga under the tutelage of Sri Swami Niranjananda Saraswati. During this time, he also learned the Bihar School of Yoga method of asanas, pranayama, meditation, and Yoga Nidra.
Having worked as Senior Yoga Instructor at Cure.Fit Bangalore, Rohit is experienced with instructing groups and individuals through a yoga session. His exposure has allowed him to help hundreds of clients with a range of health conditions and from all age groups - children, adolescents, adults, and seniors.
He has also conducted yoga workshops for corporations, such as Gainsight, Adobe India, and GE India, and anchored various retreats, teacher training modules, and intensives.
Rohit describes his yoga teaching approach as tailored to fit his clients' specific needs and requirements, using a scientifically sound method of consultation, course planning, and constant feedback.
